Pastor Daniel Corey was called to serve as pastor of King's Cross Church in January, 2015. He was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula and had the blessing of growing up in a home that feared and worshiped God. The Lord was gracious and saved him at a young age and allowed him to grow up in the blessing and grace of the local church. Pastor Corey was called to ministry when he was a freshman in high school and has been pursuing pastoral ministry ever since. He met his wife Lacey at this time and they have been happily married since 2006. Pastor Corey had the privilege of graduating from both The Master’s College as well as The Master’s Seminary. He loves reading the puritans, discussing reformed theology, and is an avid backpacker. The Coreys have been blessed with two daughters.

Pastor Bruce Ray has been pastor of King's Cross Church in Kirkland, Washington since 1976. He also serves as a Police, Fire & EMS chaplain. Bruce is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains, the Federation of Fire Chaplains, and the Washington State Critical Incident Stress Management Network. He also served on the Executive Board of FIRE, the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (www.firefellowship.org) and is on the Advisory Board of Northwest University’s Buntain School of Nursing. Bruce has written several books, including Withhold Not Correction, Celebrating the Sabbath, and Help! My Friend is Suicidal. Bruce and his wife, Terri, have five children and six grandchildren.
Alex W. Sutherland,
Became a deacon in 1993
Deacon Alex W. Sutherland became a deacon at King's Cross Church in 1993. He was born in Everett, WA and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 14 at a David Wilkinson rally and has enjoyed his walk with his Lord ever since. Alex attended Everett Community College and then entered into the Army, Air National Guard and Army Reserve for a career where he served for 23 years of service and has worked for an Insurance Company and Credit Union for the last 32 years. Alex met his wife Patty at Camp Volasuca and has been happily married for the last 26 years. Both he and Patty enjoy serving in their local church and with The Gideons International. Alex enjoys hiking, camping, woodworking, yard work and spending time with Patty. The Sutherlands are blessed with 8 children and 15 grandchildren. Alex’s favorite scripture is Joshua 24:15b “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Became an elder in October 2015
Michael Kelley was called to serve as an elder at King's Cross Church in October 2015, where he has been active teaching and leading in worship for several years. Raised in Southern California, he attended the Master's College and California State University at Northridge, before moving back to his wife Nova's home town of Kirkland to start their family in 2002. Michael works at Microsoft as a software developer. He loves reading a variety of genres of books, and is being taught to appreciate backpacking from Pastor Corey. Michael and Nova have four children.
